The first visit from your Joshua’s Pest Control technician should be the most important. Take time to discuss the service plans with your technician, letting him or her know what specific insects you have seen so the technician can customize towards your specific needs.

Your Joshua’s technician will treat the exterior perimeter of your home. He will establish a barrier between you and the potential insects that might invade your home through the foundation. The technician will thoroughly inspect the property treating structural pests where they harborage.

Once the initial exterior barrier has been deployed, your technician may take the treatment inside your residence, forging an interior blockade to reinforce the outer defenses. He or she may spray window sills and base boards of the outer walls and garage with his pressurized hand tank. The technician may investigate plumbing voids in the restrooms and kitchen, and take action with specialized products as warranted. He or she might also choose to treat the attic in specific cases, applying a product to ward off any unwanted guests. Your reports of insect activity enable the technician to take additional measures such as injecting material under base boards and treating behind sockets and outlets if necessary. Your technician will also instruct you on how you can contribute to your home's pest control strategy.
